I will be adding links to assignments, guides, readings and resources to this schedule weekly.

This is a very tentative schedule. We will follow topics in the order indicated but I may change the amount of time devoted to any specific topic.

New assignments generally will be posted late on Friday or early Saturday. I will always try to give you four or more days to complete an assignment and include part of a weekend for those students working full time. Active links are in blue and underlined.

Date	Topics and links to guides : This is a tentative schedule. Exams are set by Delta and those dates almost never change unless emergency conditions, (such as an unexpected snowstorm), dictate a change.	Assignments Assignment deadlines may be changed given internet problems, Moodle hiccups, etc.
Week one Jan 9 - 14	Introduction: Read the syllabus very carefully. Did you read carefully? If so, you should be able to answer these questions. From the syllabus: What must you change in my emails to you before you hit that reply button? How many homework points can you add to your final total points for a grade? What are textbook and lecture substitutes in this course? Please re-read the syllabus if you cannot answer these questions.	Read the following documents very carefully. Comment on extra credit Homework and study guide must read Can you answer these questions from about the homework and study guide must read? Can you simply cut and paste answers from a website for homework? Are answers to homework questions, the only material covered on the exam? If you can answer these questions, you are ready to start the course. If you cannot, email Dr. Feaver your questions.
Week two Jan 15 - 21	University Holiday - Martin Luther King Jr. Day-Jan 16 The course starts officially with guide and assignment one. Guide one to Importance of Parasites	Assignment one is due Jan 24. Please click on assignment one to view and download. Submit only homework questions on new doc. Make sure you officially submit your final versions and that submission is acknowledged by moodle. You may revise your doc until you officially submit it.
Week three Jan 22 - 28	Guide two to the Importance of Parasites	Assignment two is due Feb 2.
Week four Jan 29 - Feb 4
Week five Feb 5 - Feb 11	Guide three to Importance of Parasites--Co-evolutionary war.	Assignment three is due Feb 10.
Week six Feb 12 - 18	Study for exam one.	About my exams
Week seven Feb 19 - 25	Exam one-one hour (Feb 22- 23): Exam may be taken during hours the Proctor centers are open, on Feb 22-23. ------------------------- Start material for exam two. Start Surveys- Helminths	You must make an appointment to take the exam at our proctoring center. ---------------------------- Assignment four is due March 3.
Week eight -Feb 26- Mar 4
Week nine--- Mar 5 - 11	Surveys--The unicellular parasites	Assignment 5 is due March 11.
Week ten----- Mar Mar 12 - 18	March 13 - 17 Spring Break
Week eleven Mar 19 - Mar 25	Study for Exam 2 : Covers guides and assignments 4 and 5.
Week twelve Mar 26 - Apr 1	EXAM 2--one hour--(Mar 29-30): Exam may be taken during hours proctor center is open on March 29 and 30.	You must make an appointment to take the exam at our proctoring center.
Week thirteen April 2 - 8	Surveys- Arthropods as vectors and parasites	Assignment 6 is due Apr 10.
Week fourteen April 9 - 15	Methods for identifying parasites	Assignment 7 is due April 17.
Week fifteen April 16 -22	Study for final.
April 23 - April 29
April 30-May 5	Final--one hour--(May 1-2). Final may be taken during hours Proctor Center is open on May 1-2.	You must make an appointment to take the final at our proctoring center. This is a very busy time for our proctoring centers. Please make your appointment early in the term.
